Season Information

The Recreational program provides an organized, fun-focused environment where the young soccer player can be introduced to the sport.

  • 10 weeks of training from August to November
  • 9 game days
  • Training under background-checked and trained volunteer coaches
  • Curriculum for player development following US Youth Soccer initiatives
  • Player’s uniform kit with jersey, shorts and socks
  • For players born in 2011 – 2020

  • U5 Co Ed : players born in 2020 (U5)
  • U6 Co Ed : players born in 2019 (U6)

  • U10 Boys and U10 Girls : players born in 2016 (U9) & 2015 (U10)
  • U12 Boys and U12 Girls: players born in 2014 (U11) & 2013 (U12)
  • U14 Co Ed: players born in 2012 (U13) & 2011 (U14)

Fees

  • May: $105 (Early Bird Special)
  • Jun 1 – Jul 15:  $110 (Semi-Early Bird Special)

Financial Assistance

Player's Gear

  • Shin guards are required.
  • Soccer cleats (NOT baseball or football) are recommended.
  • Game uniforms are provided. Under-layer of matching color may be worn under uniforms. The uniform should not be covered. Shirts must be tucked in and socks must be pulled over shin guards.
  • Water should be brought to all activities by each player and should not be shared.
  • Wearing of metal jewelry, including pierced earrings, is not allowed.
  • Goalkeepers must wear shin pads and a jersey that distinguishes them from the field players. Keepers may wear long pants and gloves.
  • Gloves or knee pads are allowed by permission of the referee.
  • Bandanas, sweat bands, hair ties, etc. must be properly secured.
  • Soccer balls are recommended for each player to bring to every practice.

Ball sizes:

  • U5, U6, U8: Size 3
  • U10, U12: Size 4
  • U14: Size 5

Event and Ordering Information

  • Friday, Sep 20 and Saturday, Sep 21
  • At the PVPD Training Room: 7601 E Civic Cir, 86314
  • See the schedule for specific times (Coming soon)
  • Please arrive 20 minutes before your photo shoot time.
  • All picture ordering is done online.
  • Send a text to opt into the system, or, 
  • Scan the QR code or go to a website and enter the code.
  • Parents will receive a text when their photos are ready to view.
  • Click into the online gallery, view pictures, customize and order right from the site.  
  • Pictures will be shipped directly to the parent/guardian.

Spectators

Spectator's Code of Conduct

Rec League Spectators Agree To:

  • Sit along the half of the field away from the team and coaching staff.
  • Sit at least 4 feet from the sideline to provide ample space for Assistant Referees.
  • Provide positive vocal support and encouragement.
  • Refrain from coaching from the sidelines.
  • Not address or criticize the referees before, during or after a game.
  • Act in an orderly manner.
  • Enjoy the game!

lightning Policy

If lightning or thunder is within 10 miles:

  • Stop playing and clear the field
  • Shelter in a vehicle or enclosed building
  • Delay play for 30 minutes

We Need Coaches

Volunteer Rec Coaches are needed! Training is provided. Online registration, background check and safety clearances are required.

The deadline to register is August 10. Open to players born in 2011- 2020.
