Competitive Select Program
The Select program offers advanced training for the competitive player. Taught by licensed coaches, training sessions are held weekly from August-April. Select teams travel and compete in leagues and tournaments throughout the state.

All tryouts are held at the Mountain Valley Park Pavilion Field.
Select fees provide:
Two training jerseys
Up to 12 competitive league games played primarily in the greater Phoenix area
Up to 4 tournaments played locally and in the greater Phoenix area
9 month training which includes coaching by professionally licensed coaches
Field expenses and equipment
League registration and administrative fees
For players offered a position, there will be a mandatory Parent Meeting on May 15 at 6pm in the PV Library's Crystal Room. Program information and registration help will be provided. Please save the date!

2017 Season dates
All players interested in competitive soccer are encouraged to attend both of the FREE tryout events:
• 5/4-5/6, 5/13 Tryouts at Mountain Valley Park’s Pavilion field
• 5/15 Mandatory parent meeting at 6pm in the PV Library's Crystal Room
• 7/11 Walk-up registration at Mountain Valley Park, 5:30-7pm
• 8/1 Walk-up registration at Dick's Sporting Goods store, 5:30-7pm
• Date TBA: Team training begins
• 9/16 Port of Subs Open League season 1 begins
2017/18 season select fees vary by age bracket, ranging from $580-$700 for the 9 month season.
Registration fee of $105 is due by August 1, with monthly payments of approx. $80.
Hardship financial assistance is available to families for whom the club deems the registration fees would cause a financial burden. Each hardship application is considered on a case by case basis, based on need and available funds, and reviewed and responded to in a timely manner. All Select players applying for financial assistance must apply for the Max In Motion scholarship through YSC.
